The Phonoautomat is an ongoing project utilizing the Scamper recording Camper in collaboration with the Idlefield Art Lab. Similar to a photo-booth, The Phonoautomat is an instant recording booth where participants can record anything they want for 5 minutes and it will be duplicated onto four cassette tapes.

The project has put off at Sappyfest (NB) 2022 and Hold Fast (NL) 2023 and has resulted in a large archive of fun and spontaneous recordings.
