In the winter of 2020, Jake Nicoll, Mathias Kom, Darren Brown and Ariel Sharratt established a recording residency in the village of Riofreddo, Italy. Guided by chance and collaboration, the recordings produced during this period are peppered with bird song and church bells, and the ad-hoc percussion created from available sources: pots and pans, brooms, couches.
